The fleet launch customer for the Global 8000 aircraft has been revealed by Bombardier to be NetJets, a longtime valued customer and a global leader in private aviation. With a new firm order for four Worldwide 8000 aircraft worth $312 million and the conversion of eight existing contracts for Bombardier goods, NetJets is expanding its already sizable global fleet of more than 850 aircraft (and it’s continuously growing).

This deal adds to the order and operational inventory of Global 7500 aircraft. In addition to working with Bombardier to upgrade the whole fleet of in-service Global 7500 aircraft to Global 8000 planes when they start taking receipt of their new flagship aircraft, NetJets will develop a 24-strong fleet of the performance-leading Global 8000 aircraft.
