A passenger survey found that among the most frequent visitors to Abu Dhabi in the first half of this year were Indians. According to Khaleej Times, 6 million 299 thousand people utilised the airports between January and June of this year. Abu Dhabi Airports operates Abu Dhabi International, Al Ain International, Al Batin Executive, Delma, and Sir Bani Yas Island airports.
Additionally, 94,538 domestic and international flights were recorded from five airports in the first half of the year. It should be mentioned that the study’s most frequent passengers are Pakistanis.

According to Al Hashmi, who was quoted by Khaleej Times, “Despite the success of 2021, the goal for 2022 has always been to build on that momentum, while serving a large number of travellers and expanding our network of partners and airlines, as well as reviving regional and global markets as well as “The successful efforts of the airlines to meet the requirements safely and efficiently played a significant role in achieving these figures. Our future objective is to carry on with this success until the second half of 2022.
Khaleej Times reports that compared to the first half of 2021, the number of regularly scheduled passenger flights at Abu Dhabi International Airport has surged by 94%. In comparison to 76 destinations served by 19 airlines at this time last year, the airport now has connections to 101 destinations served by 23 airlines.

The top five nations for airport passengers in the first half of 2022 will be India (1.28 million), Pakistan (485,000), the United Kingdom (374,000), Saudi Arabia (333,000), and Egypt (283,000). While London Heathrow (276,000 passengers), Delhi (225,00), Mumbai (211,000), Kochi (217,000), and Cairo were the top five destination airports (203,000).
The top five nations by airport passenger volume in the second quarter were India (764,000), Pakistan (231,000), the United Kingdom (203,000), Saudi Arabia (195,000), and Egypt (156,000). Following were Cairo (114,000), London Heathrow (153,000), Mumbai (146,000), Kochi (126,000), Delhi (123,000), and Kochi (126,000).
