IndiGo Adds A321neo Stretch on Bengaluru–Dubai Route From Winter 2026/27

IndiGo is set to enhance its Bengaluru–Dubai service with a significant capacity upgrade starting the Winter 2026/27 schedule. The airline will deploy its A321neo aircraft in the IndiGo Stretch configuration on the popular route, replacing the earlier 186-seat A320neo operations.

The new aircraft will offer a total of 220 seats, comprising 12 IndiGo Stretch seats in a 2-2 layout and 208 Economy seats in a standard 3-3 configuration.

This upgrade marks a clear shift toward higher-capacity aircraft for the carrier’s international network from Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru (BLR), with the majority of IndiGo’s international flights from the city expected to operate with A321 aircraft.Daily non-stop services will be maintained under the existing flight numbers:

  • 6E1485: Bengaluru (BLR) to Dubai (DXB) – Departs 06:25, arrives 09:20
  • 6E1486: Dubai (DXB) to Bengaluru (BLR) – Departs 22:15, arrives 03:40 the following day

All timings are local. The introduction of the IndiGo Stretch product on this sector is expected to provide additional seat availability while offering passengers a more comfortable premium economy-style option in the forward cabin.

The move aligns with IndiGo’s broader strategy of deploying its growing A321neo fleet on key international routes to better match rising demand.
