Etihad Celebrates India’s Freedom with Massive Discounts on Flights to the US & Europe

In a grand celebration of India’s Independence Day, Etihad Airways is rolling out exciting offers for travelers from India, combining unbeatable discounts with the revival of one of aviation’s most iconic aircraft.

Whether you’re planning a trip to the US or Europe or eager to experience the luxury of Etihad’s legendary Airbus A380, this is the perfect time to fly with the UAE’s national carrier.

Massive Independence Day Sale: Up to 30% Off from India

Etihad Airways is offering a spectacular seat sale for passengers booking from India, with fares slashed by up to 30 percent on flights to popular destinations across the United States and Europe. The booking window runs until August 15, 2025, with the travel period extending from September 2025 through March 2026.

Indian travelers can take advantage of discounted economy class fares to major cities like Chicago (Dh3,273), Toronto (Dh3,599), Washington DC (Dh3,149), Barcelona (Dh2,036), Dublin (Dh2,149), and many more.

The offer also includes flights to Brussels, Prague, Warsaw, Sochi, New York, Rome, Atlanta, Madrid, Boston, Paris, Munich, and Frankfurt, ensuring a broad range of options for globetrotters.

Exclusive Start-of-Summer Discounts on Business and Economy Classes

In addition to the Independence Day offer, Etihad Airways recently launched a start-of-summer discount campaign, granting travelers 25 percent off both business and economy class tickets. This move comes as the 2025 summer travel season nears its close, with UAE, regional, and Indian carriers all offering competitive fares to attract holidaymakers.

The Iconic Airbus A380: Making a Triumphant Return

Adding to the excitement, Etihad Airways is bringing back the legendary Airbus A380 aircraft after a five-year hiatus triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic. The final two A380 giants, registered A6-APC and A6-APB, are being readied to rejoin the fleet, marking a renewed era of ultra-luxury and high-capacity air travel.

This revival was confirmed during an open day event held in late July 2025 for Wizz Air Abu Dhabi staff. Arik De, Etihad’s Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer, outlined the airline’s plans to expand A380 operations, reaffirming Etihad’s commitment to offering an exceptional flying experience.
