Etihad Airways Soars to New Heights with Three New Destinations

Etihad Airways is once again redefining air travel—this time, on a smaller scale, quite literally. The airline has unveiled its all-new Airbus A321LR, a narrow-body aircraft that delivers wide-body luxury.

For the first time ever, travelers can experience private First Class suites, fully flat Business beds, and fast, gate-to-gate Wi-Fi on short and medium-haul routes. It’s a bold move that merges premium comfort with operational agility, marking a new chapter in aviation excellence.

Private First Suites—On a Narrow-Body Jet

In a groundbreaking first, etihad airways A321LR features two exclusive First Class suites—a level of privacy and comfort previously reserved for long-haul wide-body jets. Each suite is an enclosed personal sanctuary with a sliding door, lie-flat bed, companion seating, and an elevated dining experience.

Designed with luxury in mind, passengers are treated to bespoke finishes and intuitive tech, including a 20” 4K screen, Bluetooth pairing, and wireless charging—offering both comfort and connection in every detail.

Business Class Redefined

Business travelers will find a familiar wide-body experience aboard this narrow-body aircraft. The A321LR features 14 fully flat Business seats in a 1-1 herringbone layout, each with direct aisle access. These 78-inch beds provide plenty of room to relax or work, while the 17.3” 4K screen, wireless charging, and Bluetooth connectivity ensure a seamless, tech-forward journey.

Economy Class: Comfort Without Compromise

Etihad hasn’t overlooked its Economy passengers. The A321LR offers 144 ergonomic seats with up to 5” recline and a generous 18.4” width—one of the widest in the narrow-body segment. Each seat comes with a 13.3” 4K touchscreen, USB charging, and access to the airline’s next-gen entertainment system—setting a new standard for Economy travel.

All cabins are equipped with Viasat’s high-speed satellite Wi-Fi, capable of up to 1 Gbps speeds, available from gate to gate (where permitted).

Etihad Airways is launching its all-new Airbus A321LR, starting with flights from Abu Dhabi to Phuket on August 1. From October 1, the aircraft will serve Copenhagen, Düsseldorf, Kolkata, Riyadh, Chennai, Medan, and Phnom Penh.

More destinations will follow on November 1, including Krabi, Milan Malpensa, Tunis, Zurich, Chiang Mai, and Algiers. Finally, from January 1, 2026, it will fly to Athens, Bangkok, and Paris Charles de Gaulle. In total, the A321LR will serve these destinations, bringing luxury narrow-body travel to key short and medium-haul routes.
