Embraer is expanding globally and looking for new customers for its C-390 Millennium multi-mission transport aircraft.

After gaining strong traction in Europe and the Far East, the company is now focusing on the Middle East, where there is a growing demand for modern military airlift solutions.

C-390 Millennium: Rapid Global Adoption

Since its first flight a decade ago, the C-390 Millennium has become one of the fastest-adopted aircraft in its category. embraer has already delivered aircraft to:

  • Brazil – 7 aircraft
  • Hungary – 1 aircraft
  • Portugal – 2 aircraft

In addition, contracts have been secured with:

  • Austria – 4 aircraft
  • Czech Republic – 2 aircraft
  • Netherlands – 5 aircraft
  • South Korea – 3 aircraft

“The C-390 has one of the fastest adoption rates in its class. This momentum is driving further global interest,” said Frederico Lemos, Chief Commercial Officer of Embraer Defence & Security.

Middle East: A Key Market

Many Middle Eastern air forces still operate aging transport fleets. The C-390 Millennium presents an opportunity for these nations to upgrade to a next-generation tactical airlifter.

The aircraft is designed to serve military needs for the next 30 to 40 years. It can seamlessly integrate into modern network-centric environments and operate alongside advanced fighter jets.

The aircraft is highly versatile and capable of performing multiple missions, including:

  • Cargo transport
  • Medical evacuation (MEDEVAC)
  • Aerial refueling (KC-390 variant)
  • Humanitarian relief operations

Expanding Presence in India
