Air India Launches Daily Non-Stop Flights to Tokyo Haneda from Delhi
Starting 15 June 2025, Air India will operate daily flights between Delhi and Tokyo Haneda, offering passengers improved connectivity and quicker access to downtown Tokyo.
As India’s aviation sector experiences unprecedented growth, Air India continues to expand its global footprint—bringing the world closer to Indian travelers.
With rising international demand and a commitment to enhance passenger convenience, the airline is making strategic network moves that improve access, speed, and connectivity.
Air India Expands Delhi–Tokyo Haneda Service
In a move that strengthens India–Japan connectivity, Air India has announced the expansion of its non-stop service between Delhi and Tokyo Haneda, increasing frequency from four times a week to daily flights starting 15 June 2025.
The decision follows Air India’s recent shift from Tokyo’s Narita Airport to Haneda Airport on 31 March 2025, a strategic change that significantly reduces travel time to central Tokyo.
With Haneda located just 18 kilometers from downtown and a mere 30-minute ride to Tokyo Station, the airline is offering travelers a more time-saving and accessible option.
The daily flights will be operated by Air India’s Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, ensuring a comfortable and efficient journey for both business and leisure passengers.
Flight Schedule (Effective 15 June 2025):
- AI358: Departs Delhi (DEL) at 2020 hrs, arrives Tokyo Haneda (HND) at 0755 hrs next day (Daily)
- AI357: Departs Tokyo Haneda (HND) at 1150 hrs, arrives Delhi (DEL) at 1725 hrs (Daily)
Stronger Connectivity Through Codeshare with ANA
Passengers can enjoy even broader access across Japan, thanks to Air India’s expanded codeshare agreement with Star Alliance partner All Nippon Airways (ANA). This allows smooth connections from Tokyo Haneda to six major Japanese cities—Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Nagoya, Okinawa, Osaka, and Sapporo—all on a single ticket with baggage checked through to the final destination.
Seamless Domestic and International Connectivity
Air India’s new daily service also enhances connectivity for travelers flying from other Indian cities such as Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Pune, while also providing onward connections across Asia and Europe through Delhi.
Bookings Now Open
Tickets for the expanded Delhi–Tokyo Haneda service are now available across all channels, including Air India’s website, mobile app, and authorized travel agents.
