South Korea has become the first Asian nation to place an order for the Embraer C-390 Millennium, signing a $544 million deal in December 2023 to replace its aging fleet of Lockheed Martin C-130 Hercules aircraft.

In February 2024, Embraer signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with India’s Mahindra Group to collaborate on the Indian Air Force’s Medium Transport Aircraft (MTA) procurement project.

Embraer is celebrating a decade since the first flight of the KC-390 Millennium, its next-generation multi-mission transport aircraft. The maiden flight took place on February 3, 2015, in Gavião Peixoto, lasting 1 hour and 25 minutes, showcasing the aircraft’s impressive performance.
Currently in operation with the Brazilian, Portuguese, and Hungarian Air Forces, the KC-390 fleet has logged over 16,300 flight hours, with an outstanding mission completion rate of 99%.
