British Airways Introduces Holiday Menu and Festive Lounges for UK Flyers

British Airways is getting into the holiday spirit with a range of festive offerings for passengers flying during the holiday season. From decorated terminals to special onboard meals, the airline is going all out to make the travel experience more cheerful.

These festive enhancements will be available until December 27, 2024, for passengers traveling through Heathrow, Gatwick, and on flights across the globe.

Passengers visiting the airline’s lounges at Heathrow and Gatwick will find a special winter picnic menu featuring seasonal treats like mince pies and brie and cranberry sandwiches. Pop-up Christmas stalls showcasing British brands will also be present.

Club Lounge guests can enjoy chocolates from Harry Specters and The Cocobean Company, while those in the Concorde Room can savor hand-piped biscuits from Biscuiteers. To add to the festive atmosphere, british airways premium economy a complimentary gift-wrapping service with snowflake-themed wrapping paper will be offered to First Lounge visitors.

Onboard, passengers on long-haul flights can look forward to a traditional British turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Vegetarian options will also be available, along with festive-themed drinks such as BrewDog’s Hoppy Christmas IPA and a special winter cocktail made with Johnnie Walker whiskies.

First and Business Class passengers will be treated to exclusive desserts like a bespoke chocolate éclair and traditional fruitcake.

First-Class passengers will receive some additional holiday perks. Throughout December, they will be given a limited-edition amenity kit designed by Alice Temperley. Additionally, passengers traveling between December 23 and 25 will receive a collectible Christmas bauble.

This year’s bauble features a hand-painted design celebrating 100 years of British Airways connecting the UK and India, with iconic landmarks from both countries.

Even passengers on short-haul flights can enjoy the holiday spirit, with festive food and drinks available through the airline’s High Life Café. Between December 24 and 26, British Airways expects to operate over 900 flights, connecting passengers to 150 destinations.

With these festive touches, british airways aims to make every journey a little more joyful this holiday season.
