These airlines may make a major order for the Dubai Airshow 2023

These airlines are expected to order more aircraft for the Dubai Airshow.

As the Dubai Airshow prepares to kick off this week from November 13 to 17, the aviation industry anticipates a flurry of announcements regarding aircraft orders from both manufacturers and airlines.

The event serves as a culmination of a dynamic year for aviation, and there is considerable speculation, fueled by recent reports, that numerous significant orders will be unveiled during this prestigious airshow.

The industry eagerly awaits the unveiling of new agreements and partnerships that could shape the future landscape of the aviation market.

Riyadh Air may place a second order

At the Dubai Air Show, Riyadh Air may place a second order. A report claims that the airline plans to acquire 300–400 widebody jets, of which 150 are anticipated to be narrowbody Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.

Flydubai may put a narrowbody order during the Dubai Air Show. Most likely, the Boeing 737 MAX would be the subject of such an order.

Emirates will serve as the official airline for the Dubai Air Show. The carrier is reportedly anticipating placing a second widebody order, mainly to replace its older fleet.

In the next four years, it also plans to place an order for next-generation widebody freighters, possibly choosing between Airbus A350Fs and Boeing 777-8Fs, Senior Vice-President (Emirates SkyCargo) Nabil Sultan disclosed in an interview with Bloomberg.

Turkish Airlines has leased 21 more aircraft, most of which are narrow bodies, to boost capacity in the near future. It also codeshared with Indigo to meet their aviation demands and operate widebody aircraft from India. It can also place orders for 200–400 aircraft, including narrow and wide-body aircraft.

Vinay Dube, the CEO of Akasa Air, has recently talked about a triple-digit order before the year is up. Air India and IndiGo’s massive orders mean that Akasa Air needs more aircraft to maintain its market dominance.

According to certain reports, Indigo intends to grow its extensive network. The Airbus A330 aircraft may be planned as the newest model, though the company has not yet confirmed the information.
