Singapore Airlines, a global icon known for its world-class service, has taken its inflight dining experience to new heights.

Starting May 1st, the airline has introduced a revamped gourmet Indian menu for First and Business Class passengers flying between India and Singapore, promising a richer and more authentic culinary journey.

In collaboration with renowned Indian celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor, Singapore Airlines has elevated its premium Indian dining offering with a refreshed Shahi Thali and Ruchi Thali, meticulously crafted to showcase the richness of Indian cuisine.

First Class & Suites: A Royal Shahi Thali Experience

Passengers traveling in Suites and First Class will now enjoy a more indulgent Shahi Thali, which has been expanded to include eight components in the main course, up from the previous six. This luxurious spread includes:

  • Six delicately prepared vegetarian or meat dishes
  • Aromatic rice
  • A freshly made paratha (Indian bread)

The main course is accompanied by hot and cold appetizers, a decadent dessert, and a refreshing glass of lassi (yogurt-based drink).

To further enhance the dining experience, the meal will be served on a hammered-finish, copper-coloured steel Thali platter, paired with elegant, traditional-style cutlery—bringing an authentic Indian restaurant touch to 35,000 feet. roasted chicken garlic veloute sauce singapore airlines.

Business Class: Upgraded Ruchi Thali Experience

Business Class travelers will be treated to an upgraded Ruchi Thali, featuring a six-component main course, up from the earlier four. It includes:

This is complemented by a starter, kachumber salad (a tangy Indian chopped salad), a dessert, and a cooling glass of lassi. The Ruchi Thali will now be elegantly served in silver hammered-finish serviceware, combining traditional aesthetics with a premium feel.

Singapore Airlines currently operates 92 weekly flights from eight Indian cities—Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, and Mumbai—making these culinary delights widely accessible to First and Business Class passengers flying between India and Singapore.
