A passenger boarded a Delta flight without a ticket last week at Atlanta’s Hartsfield Jackson International Airport. The plane, according to an another passenger who wished to remain unnamed, was preparing to take off. The individual was then removed from the aircraft by TSA agents and police.

I was praying to God that the plane didn’t have a bomb, he recalled. Authorities promptly removed him from the plane as it landed at the gate. Adriane Burbridge stated, “I would feel practically afraid. You can never tell what someone’s intentions are.

One of the other travelers reported that the pilot made an announcement that required everyone to exit the aircraft. The aircraft would then need to be driven to a safe location so that police could conduct a sweep. Passengers were reassured by crew and authorities that it wasn’t necessary, and the plane ultimately took off.

Many travelers questioned how someone could get into the aircraft and board it. The passenger admitted, “I was worried. “I was also worried that, if he could sneak onto a plane in such a manner, what else could be sneaked on that could endanger the lives of passengers?”
