Lufthansa’s Iconic A380 Takes Off to Denver for the First Time
Lufthansa’s iconic A380-800 will make its historic debut to Denver in 2025.
Lufthansa is set to make history with its Lufthansa A380-800, the world’s largest passenger plane, as it takes off for Denver, Colorado, for the very first time.
Known for its spacious interiors and unmatched comfort, the Lufthansa A380 interior is designed to provide an exceptional travel experience. Denver, located at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, will officially become the sixth destination served by Lufthansa’s A380 routes in 2025.
The inaugural flight is scheduled for April 30, 2025, departing daily from Lufthansa’s Munich hub. Flight LH480 will take off at 11:15 a.m., landing in Denver at 1:45 p.m. local time. The return flight, LH481, departs Denver at 4:15 p.m., arriving in Munich the following day at 10:50 a.m.
Expanding Lufthansa A380 Routes
Lufthansa has based eight Airbus A380s at its Munich hub for summer 2024, serving popular destinations including New York (JFK), Boston, Washington, Los Angeles, Delhi, and now Denver.
