To meet this massive festive rush, Air India and Air India Express have announced a major expansion of their flight network to Patna, adding 166 additional flights between mid-October and early November 2025.

This special initiative is aimed at ensuring seamless, comfortable, and accessible travel for passengers during one of the busiest travel periods of the year.

166 Additional Flights to Strengthen Festive Connectivity

Between October 15 and November 2, 2025, Air India will operate:

  • 38 additional flights between Delhi and Patna
  • 38 additional flights between Mumbai and Patna
  • 38 additional flights between Bengaluru and Patna

Meanwhile, from October 22 to November 3, 2025, Air India Express will operate:

  • 26 additional flights between Delhi and Patna
  • 26 additional flights between Bengaluru and Patna

These extra flights will significantly boost seat capacity to and from Bihar’s capital, ensuring travelers can reach home in time for the celebrations without last-minute travel stress.

Strengthening Patna’s Air Connectivity

With these additions, Air India now operates 42 weekly flights to Patna from Delhi and Mumbai, while Air India Express operates 14 weekly flights from Delhi and Bengaluru. The festive expansion will enhance regional and national connectivity, offering travelers greater flexibility, more flight options, and better timings during the festive season.

Passengers flying with Air India and Air India Express to and from Patna can also benefit from smooth onward connections via Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru to other parts of India, as well as to international destinations in the Middle East and Europe.
