It is the first single-engine jet civilian aircraft in the country to achieve FAA certification. The Cirrus SF50 can travel 1,000 nautical miles at a top speed of 345 knots (397 mph). The cabin boasts a contemporary, opulent appearance and can fit up to five guests.

The aircraft has cutting-edge avionics and safety measures, including a full-airframe parachute system called the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS) that may be deployed in an emergency.
