Qatar Airways and Philippine Airlines Expand Partnership Across 40+ Destinations

Travelers flying between Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and beyond are set to enjoy smoother journeys and more rewards as Qatar Airways and Philippine Airlines deepen their strategic partnership.

The expanded collaboration is designed to offer passengers better connectivity, easier transfers, and enhanced loyalty benefits, making international travel more seamless and convenient than ever before.

Starting from June 1, 2026, Philippine Airlines will place its PR flight code on Qatar Airways services operating from Manila, Cebu, Clark, and Davao to Doha.

Through Hamad International Airport, passengers will gain access to more than 20 major European destinations including Paris, Rome, and Frankfurt, giving travelers broader global reach with simplified bookings and connections.

At the same time, Qatar Airways will place its QR code on Philippine Airlines’ domestic routes, allowing international passengers arriving in Manila and Cebu to connect smoothly to popular tourist destinations such as Caticlan and Puerto Princesa. This move is expected to significantly improve travel convenience for both international tourists and Filipino travelers.

The partnership also brings major upgrades for frequent flyer members. Qatar Airways Privilege Club and Philippine Airlines Mabuhay Miles are now linked, enabling passengers to collect and redeem Avios or miles across both airlines’ networks.

Privilege Club members will now have access to Philippine Airlines routes spanning Southeast Asia, Australasia, and the United States, while Mabuhay Miles members can enjoy expanded access across Qatar Airways’ extensive global network, including Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

Beyond flights, members will also be able to use rewards for travel upgrades, holiday packages, shopping, dining, and other lifestyle experiences. The expanded cooperation highlights both airlines’ ambitions to strengthen their presence in fast-growing international markets while delivering greater flexibility and value to passengers worldwide.
