A dramatic incident unfolded at Tampa International Airport as an American Airlines 737 aircraft experienced a tire blowout during takeoff, captured in a gripping video.

American Airlines confirmed that Flight 590 encountered a “mechanical problem” before departure, later identified by the FAA as multiple blown tires. Fortunately, all 174 passengers and 6 crew members onboard remained unharmed, and they safely disembarked after the incident. They were subsequently transported by bus to the terminal and reaccommodated on a replacement flight.
