Florida woman unboxes 13 pieces of luggage after Delta Airlines damages her suitcase

Peyton Thompson, who recapped her experience & took to TikTok last week to highlight the bag incident, claimed that the airline overcompensated by providing her with an extra 13 pieces of new luggage. Delta Airlines recently provided an unexpected overload of customer service to a traveler after she filed a damaged bag claim following a flight.

Little did the frequent flyer know that Delta would be paying her back more than tenfold.

Thompson later revealed, “I got a notification that I had gotten several packages,” and shared a picture of 10 boxes stacked up in her hallway, which looked like a Home Depot warehouse.

The clip then cut to a picture showing even more boxes stuffed inside her truck’s inside and in back.

A spokeswoman for Delta told The Post that it might have gone “a little too far.” Delta spokesperson Morgan Durrant stated, “Delta staff are recognized for going above and beyond to help our consumers, but we may have carried that just a little bit too far. “To resolve this, we’ve put our replacement baggage vendor in touch with the consumer. We appreciate her loyalty and are glad that she got choose 13 bags as a replacement.
