Etihad Airways Announces Global Cabin Crew Recruitment Campaign
Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, is embarking on a global recruitment campaign to attract remarkable individuals to join its cabin crew team.
This initiative aims to support the airline’s ambitious growth plans and enhance the extraordinary experiences offered to its valued guests. In 2024, Etihad Airways has already recruited over 1,000 cabin crew members and plans to welcome approximately 1,000 more by the end of the year.
The airline is seeking passionate individuals who can deliver its world-renowned hospitality while enjoying the perks of a career in aviation, including travel and adventure. Recently, Etihad’s cabin crew was honored with prestigious accolades. The World Travel Awards Middle East edition named them the ‘Leading Cabin Crew 2024’, and the Business Traveller ME Awards recognized them as the ‘Best Cabin Crew 2024’.
Etihad Airways operates flights to over 70 destinations worldwide, including Australia, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and North America. The airline continues to expand its network, with new flights commencing in June to Bali, Jaipur, and several seasonal destinations such as Mykonos and Santorini in Greece, Nice in the French Riviera, Malaga in Spain, and Antalya in Turkey.
Cabin crew members will have the opportunity to work on Etihad’s modern and state-of-the-art fleet, including the Airbus A380s, which connect Abu Dhabi with London, New York, and Paris starting November 1. Other aircraft in the fleet include Boeing 787 Dreamliners and 777s, Airbus A350s, and the Airbus A320 and A321 family.

PIA Reinstates Manchester and Paris Routes After EU Ban Lift
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced plans to resume flights to Europe starting in January, beginning with Paris as its first destination.
The decision follows the European Union Aviation Safety Agency’s (EASA) removal of a long-standing ban on the airline. PIA’s inaugural flight to Paris is scheduled for January 10, with bookings opening on December 9.
DOT Proposes New Passenger Compensation Rules for Flight Disruptions
In an official statement, PIA spokesperson Abdullah Hafeez Khan confirmed that the first flight schedule has been approved, marking a significant milestone in the airline’s recovery efforts. The EU ban had previously cost PIA approximately Rs40 billion ($144 million) annually in lost revenue, compounding its financial struggles.
With European operations restarting, PIA is now setting its sights on the United Kingdom. The airline plans to seek approval from the UK Department for Transport (DfT) to resume flights to major British cities such as London, Manchester, and Birmingham.
