Avelo Airlines Announces Exclusive Nonstop Service to Las Vegas and Los Angeles

Today, Avelo Airlines unveiled exclusive nonstop service from the greater Salem/Portland area to Las Vegas and Los Angeles. The sole airline providing nonstop flights from Salem Municipal Airport (SLE) to the Entertainment Capital of the World and Southern California is Avelo, the airport’s first commercial airline to serve SLE in nearly 15 years.

Salem is located in the Willamette Valley of Oregon, which is home to approximately 100 communities, including Portland, Eugene, Corvallis, and Beaverton. Due to the fact that the Valley is home to 70% of Oregon’s population, traveling to Southern California and Las Vegas is now easier than ever with Avelo’s new service at SLE.

Starting on October 5, 2023, Avelo will offer twice-weekly, nonstop service on Thursdays and Sundays between Salem and Las Vegas. Beginning on October 6, 2023, there will be twice-weekly nonstop service between Salem and BUR on Fridays and Mondays. On November 2, this route will change to Thursdays and Sundays.
