CHENNAI: On Monday, a massive Airbus Beluga cargo plane (A300-608ST) refuelled at Chennai International Airport. This is the first time the plane has landed at the airport.
“The beautiful whale is here and with such awesomeness!” tweeted the Airports Authority of India (AAI). Today, the magnificent #Beluga No.2 (A300-608ST) landed for the maiden time at Chennai airport. The cargo carrier is an unusual visitor to this corner of the world and a sight to behold.”
According to an AAI spokesperson, the aircraft, which is not carrying cargo, is on its way to Thailand.

The aircraft, known as a super transporter, is an Airbus wide-body A300-600 aircraft that is typically used to transport aircraft or machine parts.
Beluga introduced in 1995.
The first beluga was introduced in 1995, and it has been around for 27 years. The previous model, the Beluga, was replaced two years ago by the New Beluga XL, which is now delivering Airbus component transportation within Europe and other places where Airbus Plants are specifically employed. Because the previous Beluga was in good shape, Airbus decided to convert it rather than retire it. This is now used as a cargo flight for general customers It is presently utilised to transport clients’ helicopters, machinery, and other essential goods.

– MOU represents Boeing’s commitment to work with Ukrainian industry
– Includes exploring opportunities for collaborating on in-country support of Unmanned Aerial Systems
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed today by Boeing and Antonov Company to investigate potential collaboration on defense-related projects.
“We’re happy to keep collaborating with the Antonov Company to help Ukraine’s economic development and expansion,” stated Ted Colbert, CEO and president of Boeing Defence, Space, & Security.

“This agreement demonstrates our ongoing efforts to find more opportunities to work with Ukrainian industry, which was underscored by our signing of the Ukrainian Defence Industry Compact earlier this year.”
The areas of potential collaboration identified in the agreement consist of training, logistical support and overhaul services for tactical Unmanned Aerial Systems utilized by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which includes the ScanEagle. In addition, the companies will also explore opportunities for Antonov to provide engineering support to Boeing.
