Boeing receives significant orders from two airlines at the Paris Airshow.

At the Paris Air Show in 2023, Boeing and China Airlines signed a contract for eight 787-9 Dreamliners. This firm order, which was previously posted to Boeing’s Orders and Deliveries website as unidentified, follows the airline’s first-ever order for 16 787-9s announced last year.

As passenger demand continues to increase above pre-pandemic levels, China Airlines also becomes the newest 787-10 customer when it upgrades six 787-9s to the 787-10, the largest member of the 787 family, to add flexibility and capacity on its regional network.

Compared to earlier standard-body freighters, the 737-800BCF has a payload capacity of up to 23.9 tonnes and a range of 2,025 nautical miles. More than 250 orders and commitments for the 737-800 BCF have been placed by customers worldwide.
