With these additional options, people with dietary restrictions, such as Kosher, gluten- and allergen-free diets, will be able to find something to eat. The apple and mango fruit bars and chocolate crisps are both kosher-certified and free of most allergens.

The best part is that United will offer these new snacks for free in every economy cabin, regardless of whether you paid for a basic economy fare or not. According to United, 12 million snacks are distributed each month. While frequent travellers will undoubtedly be excited about the new snacks, the airline still needs to complete a wider catering overhaul for its premium cabins and long-haul trips.

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced plans to resume flights to Europe starting in January, beginning with Paris as its first destination.

In an official statement, PIA spokesperson Abdullah Hafeez Khan confirmed that the first flight schedule has been approved, marking a significant milestone in the airline’s recovery efforts. The EU ban had previously cost PIA approximately Rs40 billion ($144 million) annually in lost revenue, compounding its financial struggles.

With European operations restarting, PIA is now setting its sights on the United Kingdom. The airline plans to seek approval from the UK Department for Transport (DfT) to resume flights to major British cities such as London, Manchester, and Birmingham.
