Gujarat may soon get its own factory for the production of aeroplanes. On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed optimism that Gujarat will soon begin producing aeroplanes, and the state’s Rajkot will produce spare components as well.
After announcing a variety of initiatives, including houses for the underprivileged, he was giving a speech to an audience near Rajkot’s Race Course area. Gujarat, where the Assembly elections are slated for the end of December, is where Modi is spending two days.
