With the launch of its IndiGoStretch and Stretch+ fare options, the indigo airline is offering travelers a more premium experience—without premium pricing. From generous baggage allowance to complimentary meals, this new fare class is all about adding comfort and convenience to your journey.

Baggage Allowance that Makes a Difference

One of the standout features of IndiGoStretch and Stretch+ is the increased baggage allowance. Passengers flying with the Stretch fare can check in up to 30 kg of luggage, divided into two pieces.

Those opting for Stretch+ enjoy an even more generous 40 kg check-in baggage limit, again limited to two pieces. However, in line with safety regulations, no single checked-in bag can exceed 32 kg, even if you purchase extra baggage.

Hand baggage also gets a boost—both fare types allow 12 kg of cabin baggage, making it easier for passengers to carry essentials without worrying about extra charges.

Passengers seated in indigo flight, IndiGoStretch and Stretch+ automatically receive a complimentary standard vegetarian meal box, a welcome change from the usual low-cost carrier experience. If you prefer something else, there’s still the option to pre-purchase your choice of meal online or onboard, giving you more control over your inflight dining.

Infant Travel Benefits

For those flying with infants, indigo airlines offers an infant seat at ₹3,800 under Stretch and Stretch+ fares. Along with this, passengers are entitled to a 7 kg hand baggage allowance for the infant, making travel with young children more manageable.

Change & Cancellation Flexibility

Stretch and Stretch+ fares come with flexibility for those unpredictable travel plans. You can reschedule or cancel your booking up to 3 hours before the scheduled departure, subject to seat availability, applicable fare differences, and a nominal change or cancellation fee.

Smooth Check-in & Boarding Process

For a seamless travel experience, IndiGoStretch and Stretch+ passengers can check in online from 48 hours to 60 minutes before departure. If you prefer checking in at the airport, make sure to do it at least 60 minutes prior to departure, as counters close then. Boarding gates close 25 minutes before takeoff, so it’s best to arrive early.
