Renowned aviation influencer Sam Chui tied the knot with his long-time partner Fiona Pang on July 12, 2025, in an extraordinary “Sky Wedding” that soared above the Gulf of Oman.
The ceremony took place aboard a chartered Boeing 747-400, turning the iconic aircraft into a one-of-a-kind flying wedding venue.
Departing from Fujairah International Airport in the UAE, the 95-minute flight was a dream come true for the aviation-enthusiast couple. Nearly 100 seats were removed from the cabin to make way for a central aisle, dance floor, and celebration space—perfectly tailored for in-flight festivities.
Guests were treated to a unique aviation-themed celebration, complete with a cake-cutting ceremony, heartfelt speeches, and the couple’s first dance high above the clouds. The wedding was operated by Aquiline International and has since gone viral, earning widespread admiration for its creativity and passion.
Calling it “the best day of our lives,” Chui highlighted the sentimental value of the Boeing 747, the very aircraft that first sparked their love for aviation—a fitting tribute to their journey together.
