Emirates Introduces Upgraded A380 Flights to the UK and Italy

Emirates’ Airbus A380 – one of the most iconic widebody aircraft in the skies – is getting a fresh new look, and it’s landing in Manchester and Milan.

Starting this summer, passengers flying from these cities will be among the latest to experience Emirates’ newest cabins, including the much-loved Premium Economy class, aboard the airline’s retrofitted A380s.

From 6 June, Emirates will deploy its upgraded airbus a380 on EK017/018 to Manchester, and from 1 July, on EK091/092 to Milan. These routes mark the next chapter in the airline’s ongoing cabin enhancement program, bringing its industry-leading Premium Economy product and other modern cabin features to more travelers across Europe.

Elevating the UK Experience

With Manchester now joining the list of A380 routes offering Premium Economy, Emirates will boost its weekly seat count in and out of the UK to nearly 5,000 Premium Economy seats.

This complements the four daily a380 msn001 services to London Heathrow, the Emirates A350 flying to Edinburgh, and the soon-to-launch refurbished Boeing 777 to London Stansted starting in May.

Expanding the Italian Premium Network

Milan becomes Emirates’ second Italian gateway to offer its latest cabin experience, following the upcoming deployment of its A350 to Bologna later in June. With these additions, Emirates continues to strengthen its European presence while offering more choices for premium travel.

A Growing Network of Comfort

By July, emirates will operate its retrofitted A380s to 19 global destinations, showcasing the airline’s deep commitment to luxury in the sky. Travelers from Manchester and Milan can look forward to seamless journeys aboard the four-class A380, connecting to major cities across Australasia and Asia, including Sydney, Singapore, Osaka, Mumbai, and Bangalore.

Inside the Premium Economy Experience

Emirates’ Premium Economy cabin is located at the front of the main deck, featuring 56 seats in a 2-4-2 layout. Each seat provides ample pitch and width, USB charging points, and a side cocktail table.

The experience is completed with thoughtfully curated amenities, an elevated dining menu, and an impressive beverage selection that includes the exclusive Chandon Vintage Brut 2016 – only available onboard with Emirates.
