Alaska Airlines launches new Burbank to San Francisco flights

Summer has arrived, but it’s never too early to start planning a trip to warm, sunny places this winter. Alaska Airlines is ready to assist in making those travel plans with the addition of three new routes just in time for the holidays: Portland-Miami begins service on Nov. 17, Palm Springs-New York JFK flights begin on Dec. 14, and San Luis Obispo-Las Vegas flights begin on Dec. 14. Tickets are available now at alaskaair.com.

Alaska will start operating daily, year-round flights from the West Coast to the East Coast on November 17. When service begins, it will operate 96 peak-daily flights from Portland to 42 nonstop locations. Miami joins Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, and Tampa as the fourth Florida city and serve nonstop from Portland. This new flight becomes the second nonstop to Miami; began the Seattle-Miami route in June 2022.

Alaska is prepared to take tourists from Southern California to the East Coast on its additional nonstop flights. The Big Apple and warm deserts are connected by this seasonal flight. Flyers on Alaska’s handy morning flights from New York can arrive in Palm Springs rested and ready to enjoy the sun. No other airline offers as many flights to Palm Springs as Alaska.
