The Airbus A350 freighter is now popular in the air cargo industry since it is expected to revolutionize most transportation and airline service businesses due to its largest cargo door, which will be loaded from the side of the aircraft. This claims to be able to provisionally house the Trent 7000 engine inside easily.
Airbus unveils the A350F, a massive widebody freighter with the capacity to carry 64 vehicles and 109 tonnes of cargo, helping to influence the future of airfreight.

A350 XL Cargo door
The new XL Main Deck Cargo Door (XL-MDCD) was developed in response to customer demands and ongoing efforts by Airbus to make our aircraft better. With a clear opening width of 4191mm/>165″, the XL door is the biggest cargo door on the market and is made to accommodate all present and future ultra fans aero engines as well as one-go entry of the longest objects. The door provides comfortable clearances and safe, simple ground operations while reducing the possibility of structural damage, and preventing delays and flight cancellations.
The A350F, based on the top-selling clean-sheet design A350, uses all of the A350’s features to assist large widebody freight operators in making a clean start toward a more sustainable and profitable future.
Features :
- Overall length 70.80 m
- Height 17.08 m
- Wing span 64.75 m
- Fuselage width 5.96 m
Capacity
- Pallet or container General cargo layout – Main deck 30 pallets 96 x 125’’ or 30x AM-base containers
- Pallet or container General cargo layout – Lower deck 12 pallets 96 x 125’’ or 40x LD3 containers.
Performance :
- Range 8 700 km
- Max payload 109 tonnes

The A350 Family benefits from cutting-edge aerodynamics that has been optimized from nose to tail and wingtip to wingtip, and the A350F offers the large freighter market the most advanced efficiency and variety.
The A350F’s composite airframe makes it lighter than its rivals; the structure uses over 70% cutting-edge materials, including composites, titanium, and contemporary aluminum alloys, to produce a more economical, lighter aircraft with increased corrosion resistance and fewer maintenance needs.

Boeing has achieved a significant milestone by providing NASA with the second core stage of the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket.
This crucial component, crafted at NASA’s Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF), is set to propel the Artemis II crew into lunar orbit, marking humanity’s return to deep space after a 50-year hiatus.
The monumental Boeing-built rocket stage, the largest element of the Artemis II mission, will embark on a journey aboard the Pegasus barge, traveling 900 miles to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.

Upon arrival, it will be meticulously integrated with other essential Artemis II components, including the upper stage, solid rocket boosters, and NASA’s Orion spacecraft within the iconic Vehicle Assembly Building. This intricate integration process is a vital step toward the eagerly anticipated Artemis II launch, slated for 2025.
“Boeing-built products helped land humankind on the moon in 1969, and we’re proud to continue that legacy through the Artemis generation,” remarked Dave Dutcher, vice president and program manager for Boeing’s SLS program. “Together, with NASA and our industry partners and suppliers, we are building the world’s most capable rocket and paving the way to deep space through America’s rocket factory in New Orleans.”

The delivery of Core Stage 2 marks a significant achievement in the evolution of the SLS rocket. Towering over 200 feet and powered by four RS-25 engines, this core stage, coupled with two solid-fueled booster rockets, will generate a staggering 8.8 million pounds of thrust. This immense power is crucial to launching Artemis II and future missions into the vast expanse of space.
The SLS rocket stands unparalleled in its capability to transport both crew and substantial cargo to the moon and beyond in a single launch. Its extraordinary capacity will facilitate the delivery of human-rated spacecraft, habitats, and scientific missions to destinations including the moon and Mars, ushering in a new era of space exploration.
