Qatar Airways emerged as the World’s Best Airline for 2024, sweeping top honors not only for World’s Best Business Class and World’s Best Business Class Lounge but also as the Best Airline in the Middle East.
Singapore Airlines took top honours with the award
Following closely behind, Singapore Airlines, last year’s Airline of the Year, secured the second spot globally for 2024, with Emirates coming in third, ANA All Nippon Airways ranking fourth, and Cathay Pacific claiming fifth place among over 350 airlines evaluated in the survey.
Singapore Airlines excelled with the World’s Best Cabin Staff and continued dominance in First Class Suites, earning the title of World’s Best First Class. They also clinched the Best Airline in Asia award, showcasing their exceptional service standards in a fiercely competitive region.
ANA All Nippon Airways maintained its strong presence by achieving fourth place globally and was recognized for the World’s Best Airport Services, along with winning Best Airline Staff Service in Asia.
Saudi Arabian Airlines was honored as the World’s Most Improved Airline for 2024, followed by STARLUX Airlines in second place and PLAY in third. This award acknowledges significant quality improvements across all aspects of the awards program, reflecting each airline’s advancements in global ratings and performance across various award categories.

Starting in the summer of 2025, Air France is teaming up with Starlink to offer ultra-fast Wi-Fi on all its flights. The service promises a “ground-like” internet experience and will be available free of charge for passengers in all cabin classes.
