EasyJet orders 157 A320neo Aircraft
Following shareholder approval, easyJet has confirmed a firm order for 157 more airbus a320 Family aircraft. In addition to upsizing an existing order for 35 A320neo aircraft into the larger A321neo, the firm order includes 56 A320neo and 101 A321neo aircraft.
Lufthansa orders 40 Airbus A220s aircraft
The Supervisory Board of Lufthansa Group has decided to firmly order 40 more A220-300 aircraft for the company’s short- and medium-haul fleet.
Azul Linhas Aéreas ordered four A330neo aircraft
Azul reveals that it has a firm order from a June 2023 purchase agreement for four more A330-900. With these planes, the airline will increase the number of its fleet and the number of international routes.
Turkish Airlines ordered 220 Airbus aircraft
Turkish Airlines is going to increase the size of its fleet by ordering 220 airbus aircraft, comprising 150 of the company’s best-selling A321s and 70 of the most advanced and productive A350 widebody aircraft in the world (fifty airbus a350 -900s, fifteen A350-1000s, and five A350F freighters).
The airline placed two orders for A350-900s in September and four more in July 2023. 212 of the 504 Airbus aircraft on Turkish Airlines’ order book have already been delivered, with this most recent order bringing the total to 504.
Avolon orders 100 A321neo aircraft
The global leasing company Avolon has placed a firm order for 100 A321neo aircraft, bringing its total order quantity for the model to 190 aircraft.
Cathay Group orders the 6 A350F
Hong Kong’s Cathay has become the latest carrier to order the all-new A350F, following the signature of a purchase agreement for six aircraft.
In December 2023, Airbus secured an impressive total of 447 narrow-body aircraft and 80 wide-body aircraft orders.
