Vistara to launch international Flights to Bali, Frankfurt, and Paris
In the next quarter, Vistara intends to launch a number of new international routes as it approaches the end of its existence as an independent Indian carrier.
According to Kannan, the full-service carrier will use newly ordered aircraft, mainly for foreign flights, on Monday at an event to commemorate the launch of Vistara’s daily service from Delhi to Hong Kong.
According to him, demand for the first trip was over 90% full, and it appears that it will be strong throughout November.
Vistara to offer flights to Paris
Vistara recently announced that it will shortly begin offering flights from Mumbai to Frankfurt and from India’s capital to Bali. Another option from the Indian financial center in Paris, according to Kannan.
Vistara has already announced it will soon start flights between Mumbai and Frankfurt, starting from 15 November 2023. This new route is in addition to Vistara’s 6x weekly service between Delhi and Frankfurt which has been getting good response since its launch in February 2021.
Additionally, Vistara announced daily non-stop flights between Delhi and Bali, starting 01 December 2023. This makes Vistara the only airline offering direct connectivity between the two cities currently.
Vistara will be deploying its A321LR aircraft, with a three-class configuration, giving its customers the option to fly in Business, Premium Economy, or Economy cabins when travelling on the route. Bookings for the flights are being progressively opened on all channels, including Vistara’s website, mobile app, and through travel agents.
Commencing from June 1, 2023, the airline will significantly bolster its operations at London Heathrow (LHR) by introducing direct flights between Mumbai and London five times a week. These flights will be serviced by Vistara’s state-of-the-art Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, featuring a three-class seating arrangement, aimed at enhancing travel connectivity between India and the UK.

Air India Express Aircraft Engine Part Falls Outside Delhi Airport; DGCA Orders Probe
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has launched an inquiry following reports that metal fragments were discovered at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport after an Air India Express flight made an emergency landing on Monday evening.
The emergency landing was prompted by a detected engine fault, but fortunately, the landing was executed safely without any injuries to the passengers.
The situation began when crew members of the Air India Express flight reported an engine issue, leading to the emergency landing. The DGCA has confirmed that a thorough investigation is underway and has directed that the aircraft undergo a comprehensive safety inspection.

The discovery of metal debris outside the airport has raised concerns, prompting the DGCA to probe whether these fragments are linked to the aircraft involved in the emergency landing. Authorities are particularly focused on whether the metal pieces, which were found near the airport, originated from the same Air India Express flight that experienced engine trouble.
While preliminary assessments suggest that the debris could be a broken blade from an aircraft engine, the exact source remains unconfirmed. The airline has yet to verify if the metal fragments are from their aircraft.

The Delhi Police, working in conjunction with the DGCA, have initiated their own investigation to determine the origin of the metal pieces. As the investigation continues, a case has been filed with the airport authority to address the matter.
