United Airlines Brings Holiday Cheer with Free North Pole Flights
United Airlines is spreading holiday joy with its heartwarming “Fantasy Flights” program, giving children in need an unforgettable trip to the “North Pole.”
This December, 13 cities worldwide will host these magical flights, designed to bring smiles and holiday cheer to kids and their caretakers. The experience begins as families board a United aircraft for a short journey, either circling the skies or remaining on the ground, before landing at a specially decorated gate.

Upon arrival, the children are transported into a winter wonderland, transformed by United employees and local volunteers into Santa’s workshop, complete with twinkling lights, sparkling Christmas trees, and, of course, Santa Claus and his merry elves.
In Honolulu, one such “Fantasy Flight” took off this week, creating joyful memories for families in need. These flights are a collaboration between United team members, local nonprofits, and hospitals, working together to make each event uniquely special for their community.
