IndiGo Leaves Behind 37 Bags Of Passengers At Hyderabad Airport

National, May 13, 2020: Keeping its commitment to support the nation and the government, IndiGo has exceeded its own record by uplifting the highest ever tonnage carried on a passenger flight in ‘freighter mode’. The IndiGo CarGo team set another record by uplifting 20,212 kgs on its Kochi-Abu Dhabi freighter flight 6E 9014 on May 12, 2020 by outpacing its last record of 19,193 kgs on an Airbus 320 Kochi-Abu Dhabi flight. The CarGo team of the airline transported total 70.27 CBM of fruits and vegetables by following all safety measures in the flight.
Mr. Ronojoy Dutta, Chief Executive Officer, IndiGo said, “We have been successful in yet again raising the bar by uplifting 20.21T CarGo on 6E 9014 from Kochi to Abu Dhabi while using our A-320 passenger aircraft in a ‘freighter mode’. We are proud to play a part in maintaining and supporting supply chains in and out of the country at this critical time. I would like to congratulate the CarGo team on their consistent efforts to enhance efficiencies. Boeing, Antonov to Collaborate on Defense Projects

– MOU represents Boeing’s commitment to work with Ukrainian industry

– Includes exploring opportunities for collaborating on in-country support of Unmanned Aerial Systems

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed today by Boeing and Antonov Company to investigate potential collaboration on defense-related projects.

“We’re happy to keep collaborating with the Antonov Company to help Ukraine’s economic development and expansion,” stated Ted Colbert, CEO and president of Boeing Defence, Space, & Security.

“This agreement demonstrates our ongoing efforts to find more opportunities to work with Ukrainian industry, which was underscored by our signing of the Ukrainian Defence Industry Compact earlier this year.”

The areas of potential collaboration identified in the agreement consist of training, logistical support and overhaul services for tactical Unmanned Aerial Systems utilized by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which includes the ScanEagle. In addition, the companies will also explore opportunities for Antonov to provide engineering support to Boeing.
