Clear and TSA PreCheck: Enhancing Your Airport Experience

Clear and TSA PreCheck: Enhancing Your Airport Experience

Clear is a trusted airport security program that speeds up the security screening procedure for passengers. Members benefit from a speedier and more convenient experience at participating airports. Here’s a detailed explanation of Clear airport security, including how it works and where it can be used:

Clear is a firm that uses biometrics to enable people to quickly identify themselves by simply scanning their fingers or their eyes. With 71 locations throughout the United States, including 54 airports and 18 arenas and stadiums, its products are currently used by over 19 million people.

How Clear Airport Security Works:

  1. Enrollment: In order to use Clear, you must first register for the service. This is something you may accomplish online or at specific airports where clearsecure is offered. Your name, address, and biometric information (fingerprints and eye scan results) will be required during the enrollment process.
  2. Clear Membership: You become a Clear member as soon as you enroll. Your membership will be available to you digitally or on a Clear card, which you may use at select airports and locations.
  3. Identity Verification: Clear members go to a special Clear lane at the airport rather than standing in the regular security queue. There, a biometric reader will scan your Clear card or your digital membership.
  4. Access to the TSA PreCheck Lane: Following identity verification, you’ll be led to the TSA PreCheck security checkpoint. Clear allows you to use the regular security lane even if you do not have TSA PreCheck.
  5. Clear Security Screening: Proceed directly to the security checkpoint, skipping regular lines.
  6. Proceed to Your Gate: Once you’ve cleared the security checkpoint, you can proceed to your gate, saving valuable time and avoiding long lines.

How much is CLEAR plus at the airport?
