With the release of its summer 2023 schedule, United Airlines maintained its lead among U.S. carriers in the transatlantic market. The schedule includes six additional flights to some of the most well-known European cities, including Rome, Paris, Barcelona, London, Berlin, and Shannon, as well as new service to three cities: Malaga, Spain; Stockholm, Sweden; and Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Next summer, United will operate flights to a total of 37 locations in Europe, Africa, India, and the Middle East, which are more destinations than all other American airlines combined.

“Next summer United is offering the best of both worlds: we’re making it easier for our customers to visit the most popular cities in Europe, but we’re also expanding our reach to give travelers access to new places they haven’t yet experienced,” said Patrick Quayle, senior vice president of global network planning and alliances at United. “We expect another busy summer for international travel and are proud to build on our industry-leading global network to offer our customers the widest range of destinations and most convenient travel options.”

Along with operating additional flights, United will continue to operate nine routes that were added last summer, including direct service between New York/Newark and Nice, Denver and Munich, Boston and London Heathrow, Chicago/O’Hare and Zurich, and Chicago/O’Hare and Milan. Additionally, United will operate flights to four locations that are not currently served by any other North American airline, including Amman, Jordan, the Azores, Portugal, Palma de Mallorca, Spain, and Tenerife, Spain.

United will have 23 daily flights to London Heathrow next summer, adding a second daily flight between Los Angeles and London Heathrow on March 25 on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. United broadens its industry-leading European network from San Francisco with daily flights to Rome launching on May 25 on a Boeing 777-200ER.

A cocooned 60-inch curved wall for privacy while maintaining a spacious feel.
