Topping the charts in 2023 is the Honolulu (HNL) to Kahului (OGG) route, claiming the title of the busiest domestic route with an impressive 3.6 million seats. Just trailing closely behind is the Atlanta (ATL) to Orlando (MCO) route, securing second place with 3.5 million seats, a mere 3% difference.

In a surprising turn of events, the once-crowned champion route, Los Angeles (LAX) to San Francisco (SFO), which held the top spot in 2019, now finds itself in 6th place for 2023, experiencing a 33% decrease in capacity compared to its 2019 levels, flights to miami highlighting the dynamic shifts in air travel patterns over the years.
