On Monday, IndiGo unveiled 6Eskai, a chatbot driven by GPT-4 technology and utilizing artificial intelligence (AI). Numerous tasks can be completed by the chatbot, such as making reservations for tickets, applying promo codes, and checking in online.
IndiGo claims that its digital team, working closely with Microsoft, developed the chatbot entirely in-house. The chatbot provides a unique platform for ticket booking across the network and responds to customer inquiries in ten different languages.
6Eskai can handle a wide range of tasks, from booking tickets and applying promotional discounts to facilitating web check-ins and helping with seat selection, according to IndiGo, which highlighted the platform’s 1.7 trillion parameters. According to the report, the AI chatbot can comprehend spoken instructions using speech-to-text models in addition to written or typed exchanges.
The airline added that its data scientists studied Generative Pre-trained Transformers (GPT) and used extensive prompt engineering to programme the bot to mimic human behaviour, react to emotions, and even inject humour into interactions.

Flight N0787 carried 45 passengers
In collaboration with the Norwegian Polar Institute and Aircontact, Scandinavia’s premier air brokerage firm, Norse Atlantic Airways spearheaded this pioneering mission to transport essential research equipment and scientists to the remote Troll research station in Queen Maud Land, Antarctica.
Flight N0787 carried 45 passengers, including scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute and other nations, bound for various research stations in Antarctica. The flight also transported 12 tons of vital research equipment crucial for Antarctic exploration.
Commencing its journey from Oslo on November 13th, the Dreamliner made a stop in Cape Town, South Africa, before embarking on the challenging Antarctic leg.
Departing Cape Town at 23:03 on Wednesday, the aircraft spent over 40 hours in South Africa before accomplishing its historic landing at Troll Airfield.

Earlier, the Qatar CEO expressed concerns about the poor paint peeling on the A350, raising airworthiness risks. Airbus subsequently addressed and resolved the issue. Now, the Emirates Chief is questioning the engine’s ability to withstand extreme heat, anticipating increased maintenance and downtime challenges.
R-R’s unique supplier engines ensure 2500 cycles
Rolls-Royce has responded, assuring the performance of the Trent XWB-97 engine with the following statement.
“The engine excels in benign operations but faces challenges in sandy, hot conditions, like many modern engines. Rolls-Royce is actively enhancing durability. Emirates considers ordering up to 50 A350-1000 only if R-R’s unique supplier engines ensure 2500 cycles on the wing before maintenance, a significant leap from the current Trent XWB-97 performance.”
Only Rolls Royce Holdings Plc is responsible for building the aircraft, and Clark claimed that until the next maintenance cycle, the engine on the aircraft does not meet the requirements of so-called time on the wing. According to Clark, Emirates is considering purchasing 35 to 50 A350s, which would supplement their current order of 50 A350s of the smaller -900 widebody model.
According to industry sources, Airbus saw a second significant order from Turkish Airlines slip off the show’s agenda when plans for an Emirates A350 order were put on hold for the time being.
