Emirates A380 makes a grand entrance in Indonesia
Emirates’ flagship A380 has made history by becoming the first scheduled A380 service to Indonesia after making a historic touchdown at Bali’s I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport earlier today. Emirates flight EK368 took off from Dubai at 03:10 and touched down in Bali at 16:20. EK369, the return flight, will leave Bali at 19:40 and land in Dubai at 00:45. All times are local.
In order to provide passengers, VIP delegations, and airport officials a closer look at the double-decker’s distinctive offerings, including its award-winning First Class suites, Emirates’ debut A380 flight to Bali was flown by a three-class aircraft. A two-class A380 aircraft with 58 lie-flat seats in business class and 557 seats in economy will be used by the airline to maintain A380 operations in Bali.

Emirates continues to demonstrate its long-standing commitment to Indonesia’s travel and tourist industry with other efforts in addition to launching its flagship A380. At the Arabian tourism Market in Dubai in early May, the Emirates and the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to continue promoting Indonesia as a top tourism destination through cooperative marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Indonesian travelers can look forward to taking advantage of the A380’s roomy and comfortable cabins, as well as its signature amenities like the Onboard Lounge and award-winning inflight entertainment system with more than 6,500 channels of on-demand entertainment. By the end of the summer, the Emirates A380 will likely have expanded to over 50 destinations from its current 46, which includes Dubai.
