Air India announces new non-stop service between Bengaluru and Singapore
Air India has begun nonstop service between Bengaluru and Singapore. The new service will meet the need for a convenient direct connection between the two cities.
AI392 is scheduled to depart from Bengaluru at 12.30 a.m. and arrive in Singapore at 5.40 a.m. AI393, the return flight, will depart Singapore at 6.40 a.m. and arrive in Bengaluru at 8.35 a.m. (all local time).
The route, which will be conducted four days a week on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, will be flown by an Airbus A321 aircraft and have a two-class configuration of 170 Economy and 12 Business Class seats.
In addition, starting on October 22, Air India will be offering thirteen weekly flights instead of the previous seven between Mumbai and Singapore. Following the launch of additional flight services from Bengaluru, the aviation business now runs 38 weekly nonstop flights to Singapore. 14 flights are operated by Air India from Delhi, 13 from Mumbai, 7 from Chennai, and, 4 from Bengaluru.
Building a more robust network is a key component of Air India’s transformation journey, and the new launch is in line with the airline’s commitment to increase connectivity and enhance frequency in its domestic and international sectors as it continues to add new aircraft to its fleet, according to an official statement from the airline.
