STARLUX Airlines Launches Seattle-Taipei Route, Expanding US Network
In a significant milestone for STARLUX Airlines, the Taiwan-based luxury carrier launched its inaugural flight from Seattle to Taipei, marking its third U.S. gateway after Los Angeles and San Francisco.
The flight, which touched down to a warm water cannon salute at 4:15 p.m. at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), symbolizes STARLUX’s growing commitment to expanding its transpacific network.
The new Seattle-Taipei route not only strengthens STARLUX’s presence in the U.S. but also enhances connectivity for travelers. With STARLUX’s strategic partnership with Alaska Airlines, passengers can now enjoy seamless travel from over 100 cities to Seattle and beyond to Taipei and 23 key Asian destinations.
This new route provides a vital link between the Pacific Northwest and Asia, offering travelers more options and flexibility in their international journeys. To commemorate the inaugural flight, STARLUX hosted a celebration at SEA following the arrival of flight JX032 from Taipei.
The event highlighted the airline’s ambition to offer premium travel experiences to its passengers. The Seattle-Taipei service, operated by the state-of-the-art Airbus A350-900, initially offers three flights weekly, with plans to increase to daily flights by the beginning of next year.

Upon landing in Taipei, passengers can seamlessly connect to over 23 destinations across Asia, including popular cities like Bangkok, Hanoi, Singapore, and Jakarta.
