Cabin Luggage with Emirates: What You Can and Cannot Bring
When you travel on an Emirates flight, there are specific rules for the amount of baggage you can carry in the cabin. These rules differ based on your level of service, and understanding them is crucial for a smooth and hassle-free travel experience.
Cabin Allowance per Cabin Class
1. Economy Class travellers are permitted to bring 7kg of cabin baggage with dimensions not exceeding 55 by 38 by 22 cm. This is known as Emirates carry-on luggage.
2. Premium Economy passengers can bring up to 10kg of carry-on luggage with the same size limits.
3. Business and First Class travellers can bring 7kg of cabin baggage plus a briefcase or garment bag. The briefcase must not be larger than 45 by 35 by 20 cm, and the handbag must not be larger than 55 by 38 by 22 cm. When folded, the garment bag should be not more than 20 cm. Cabin luggage emirates
4. When travelling with infants, they can bring one carry-cot or a fully foldable pram into the cabin if there is adequate space. Otherwise, these items will have to be analysed.
5. Passengers boarding in India are permitted one piece of carry-on baggage with a total size of not exceeding 115 centimetres (length + width + height).
6. Customers departing from Brazil can bring up to 10 kilogrammes of cabin baggage.

8. When transporting liquids, all containers must be 100ml or less and placed in a transparent re-sealable plastic bag with a capacity of no more than one litre. Each customer is only allowed one bag.
9. Exemptions are made for infant food, specific medications, and dietary restrictions, but the nature of these things must be verified.
10. Powders in containers of 350ml or more are not permitted in carry-on baggage, especially on specific flights. Powder-like substances purchased at duty-free stores must be packed in bags with proof of purchase. This restriction does not apply to baby formula, prescription medications, or human remains.
