The centralized warehouse, which spans around 54,000 sq. ft. and is situated close to Terminal 3 at the Cargo complex of Delhi Airport’s Air Cargo Logistics division, would greatly speed up turnaround times for the airline’s flights departing from Delhi.
The integrated warehouse, the first of its kind for any airline in India, will act as the hub of Air India’s engineering department, providing a single location for storing aircraft spares, tools, and ground support equipment, including hardware and sophisticated and complex avionics, hydraulics, structural, pneumatic, and mechanical components.

The warehouse will combine 16 subscale and dispersed locations located across Delhi and Mumbai into a consolidated state-of-the-art facility that will serve as a hub and feeder network for operations throughout India. This will allow the warehouse to fulfill engineering resource requirements for maintenance and service of the Air India, Air India Express, and AIX Connect fleet from a centralized location.
This will simplify airline operations and guarantee improved inventory management. The warehouse, which is near the aircraft hangars for Air India at Terminal 3 of the IGI airport, would enable quick material movement of spares to handle technical concerns.
As Air India continues to develop into a top-tier airline, the new integrated facility will strengthen the nation’s airline engineering warehouse infrastructure.
