Air New Zealand's Snack Quest: Your Chance to Customize OnBoard Snacks
  • More than 400 suppliers have put their best snacks forward
  • The delectable creations of 30 suppliers have been shortlisted
  • More than 70 snacks tried and taste-tested
  • Now, Air New Zealand is calling for taste testers to help make the final decision

All snacksperts are invited! As part of the airline’s Great Kiwi Snack Off, Air New Zealand is calling for Kiwis to help select the most spectacular snacks to serve its passengers onboard.

A statewide quest for the most tasty Kiwi snacks to offer onboard was launched earlier this year by Air New Zealand, inspiring hundreds of passionate providers from all around the country to submit their offerings.

A panel of snackers from Air New Zealand has already reduced the list of potential suppliers to make sure they can meet important criteria, such as providing items that can be served without heating and are simple and light to travel.

No age restriction applies to individuals who want to engage in this meaty challenge; both children and adults are welcome to apply to become snacksperts. Those interested in becoming one of five snacksperts can fill out this form. They’ll be given the chance to taste test the snacks in Auckland and give their verdict before the final selection is announced in the coming weeks.
