With today’s announcement, we are once again reaffirming our close relationship with Boeing and our support for their 737 MAX programme. The 737 MAX is in high demand among our clients, and this order pushes the end of our delivery pipeline to 2030, according to Andy Cronin, CEO of Avolon. “Our industry has prioritized the switch to newer, more fuel-efficient aircraft, and we want to take the lead by assisting airlines in achieving their sustainability goals.”

The 737 MAX will give Avolon’s clients more network flexibility while using 20% less fuel and emitting 20% fewer emissions than the aircraft it replaces. In comparison to the aircraft it replaces, each aircraft can save up to 8 million pounds of CO2 yearly.

Air India intends to increase the fleet size by an additional 30 aircraft.(Opens in a new browser tab)

The most adaptable single-aisle aircraft on the market, the 737-8 variants, with seating capacities ranging from 162 to 210 passengers and a range of 3,500 nautical miles, can make a profit on short- and medium-distance flights.

Since July 2022, more than 1,000 orders and offers for Boeing’s new commercial aircraft have been placed by customers. This number includes more than 750 737 MAX aircraft, demonstrating the importance of the family’s flexibility and unity.
