This is how Etihad airways celebrates world pilots 'day

The national airline of the United Arab Emirates, Etihad Airways, commemorated World Pilots’ Day by releasing a video of famed football manager Pep Guardiola visiting to its state-of-the-art flight training academy in Abu Dhabi.

Alban, a young eight-year-old aviation enthusiast, now commands Pep in the heartwarming movie, taking over as the leader. The aspiring young pilot, who aspires to fly for Etihad one day, was thrilled to meet and train one of football’s most well-known players.

“It was a pleasure to visit the Etihad training academy and meet Alban,” Pep Guardiola said. I have no doubt that the Etihad Airways personnel is excellent at what they do and ably represents the carrier. It was enjoyable to briefly fill their shoes and understand their responsibilities.

As they touch down in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, from where Etihad Airways flies to more than 60 destinations, passengers can be seen taking in the views of the famous Yas Marina Circuit and Ferrari World Abu Dhabi’s stunning red dome.

Every year on April 26, World Pilots’ Day is observed. The day honours the significant effort pilots make each year to ensure the safe connection of millions of passengers around the globe.
