Singapore Airlines extends free wifi in all cabin classes

From July 1, 2023, all passengers in all cabin classes, including Premium Economy Class and Economy Class, will have access to the most complete free limitless Wi-Fi in the airline sector.

Almost all of the aircraft in Fleet 1 and the entire SIA route network will have access to this improved Wi-Fi service. Thus, even at 36,000 feet in the air, passengers in all cabin classes will be able to stay in touch with loved ones, conduct online business, or keep up with their social media feeds.

To enjoy this service, customers must enter their KrisFlyer membership details at the point of booking through the Manage Booking online option, or at check-in. Non-KrisFlyer members may also sign up for their free membership online or on board their flight via the SIA digital content portal on their personal mobile devices to enjoy the complimentary in-flight Wi-Fi.

Suites, First Class, and Business Class customers, as well as PPS Club members² will continue to enjoy access to free unlimited in-flight Wi-Fi. Since February 2023, KrisFlyer members traveling in Premium Economy Class and Economy Class have enjoyed complimentary three- and two-hour Wi-Fi surf plans respectively.

The new First Class seat is ultra-wide at 36.5 inches, with a bed length of 79 inches for ultimate comfort. It includes:

A multi-purpose ottoman and stowable table.
A 32-inch 4K TV screen.
Adjustable mood lighting with modes like “relax,” “dine,” and “cinema.”
A cocooned 60-inch curved wall for privacy while maintaining a spacious feel.

Passengers traveling together can enjoy a shared experience with a sliding divider that creates a lounge-like space. The stowable tables also allow for “buddy dining,” where two people can dine together.

The cabin’s flowing curves, inspired by the iconic Concorde wings, create a welcoming and stylish environment. Additionally, passengers can now wheel their luggage directly into their personal storage space, making settling in easier.
