Cathay Pacific Grounds A350 Fleet Over Engine Defect, Cancels Multiple Flights

Cathay Pacific will offer 5,590 round-trip tickets to Hong Kong to residents of India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The project is in support of the Hong Kong Tourism Board’s (HKTB) “Hello Hong Kong” campaign, which aims to formally invite travelers back to the city now that travel restrictions have mostly been lifted.

Participants must be Cathay members in order to participate in the promotion. On Cathay Pacific’s website, they can register for a complimentary membership. Members must go to Cathay Pacific’s campaign website throughout the campaign period, sign in using their Cathay membership information, and register for the lucky draw.

Each participant may only submit one entry. The campaign website will notify the winners, and they will also get an email with instructions on how to claim their gift.

The campaign will run from May 22, 2023 (12:00 local time) until May 28, 2023 (12:00 local time) in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, and Dubai. On June 7, 2023, the airline will reveal the winners. The redemption period runs from June 7 to July 6, 2023, and the travel period is from June 7 to March 7, 2024.

    Starting in the summer of 2025, Air France is teaming up with Starlink to offer ultra-fast Wi-Fi on all its flights. The service promises a “ground-like” internet experience and will be available free of charge for passengers in all cabin classes. To access the Wi-Fi, passengers can log in using their Flying Blue loyalty program accounts.
