Airbus Unveils the Final A350F Livery Design at the Paris Air Show.
At the Paris Air Show, Airbus officially showed the A350F freighter’s winning livery. The design was chosen following a global competition that the aerospace company held in October 2022. Contestants were given free rein to express their ideas on a 1,000-square-meter aircraft livery canvas.
Airbus A350F Final Livery Winners
The committee had a very difficult time choosing from over 4,000 entries, but they eventually settled on two similar submissions that they combined to create the ultimate winning design. So a hearty congratulations goes to John Feehan and the brothers Quinnten and Ellisten Iversen.
Quinnten and Ellisten, brothers who are 16 and 12 respectively, reside in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. They already have their eyes set on becoming pilots, and they enjoy everything aviation, from plane spotting to model collecting. “As I was reading the daily aviation news, the concept of “packing boxes” struck me as a brilliant idea. Together with my brother, I sat down and we got to work developing our idea.

John Feehan, a graphic designer in Dublin, Ireland, is 57 years old. His kid, who has a strong interest in aviation, encouraged him to enter the contest. “My son’s passion for flying had an impact on the entire family. He encouraged me to enter the competition, which provided a stimulating opportunity to think creatively. I was unable to refuse the chance to collaborate with a pioneer in flying.
Airbus expects to have the first aircraft painted by the end of 2024, and the winning design will come to life as the aircraft embarks on its first flight. When it enters service in 2026, the A350F will be able to carry a payload of up to 111 tonnes over a range of 4,550 nm.
Airbus announced the introduction of a brand-new, large freighter, the A350F, in November of last year in keeping with its aim to pioneer sustainable aircraft for a safe and united world. Compared to other freighters now in the air, this one has been engineered to consume up to 40% less fuel and emit 40% less carbon.
