The largest apparent modification is the addition of headrest wings, which will give passengers more support and a sense of privacy without excluding them from their traveling companions. The body can be cradled in a reclined position by a system of cushioned ergonomic foot and leg rests to improve guests’ sleep.
“Economy travelers also have a foot net, a 13” OLED TV, and easy-access storage for their personal goods and glasses. The team spent a lot of time testing the new Economy seat’s ergonomics, lumbar support, and breathability. It will offer 33 inches of legroom.
